Her earrings look as if they could be made of jet or coral. On the verso of the image is a small paper label which has written on it in a contemporary hand; "Abigail Willard Alexander". Housed in it's original green paper sleeve. In fine, clean condition. $25.00

At her throat she's wearing a beautiful and elaborate black jet brooch, and there's a blush of pink tint to her cheeks. Backmark of "Wasson's Ferrotypes, Brooklyn". Some light soiling to sleeve, with a small, closed tear. Else, the image itself is as-new, with gorgeous clarity and tone. $20.00

He has a very gentle "mien" about him with his care worn face and his eyes that gaze off into the distance, as if lost in reverie. Note his checked shirt. Tintype of baby girl by J. M. Peck TT116-2 Exceptionally nice 1/6 plate tintype portrait of a very self posessed little girl housed in a blind stamped cream paper sleeve. I like the blush of pink tinting to her cheeks, her pose, her dress and her shiny black shoes that button around the ankle. Sleeve blind stamped on recto "J. M. Peck". Touch of wear and light scratching to surface. Else, in fine condition with razor-like focus and clarity. $23.00

Deland & Bracy Tintype TT46-2 Gem tintype portrait of a woman in a blind-stamped paper sleeve. Studio mark of Deland & Bracy, Great Falls. Carl Mautz's "Biographies of Western Photographers" lists the firm of Deland & Bracy as active in Great Falls, MT in 1867. Very scarce studio mark. Light soiling to sleeve. Image sharp and clean. $25.00
Donkey Cart Tintype TT47-2 Charming 1/6 plate tintype of a young girl and her mother (?) in a cart drawn by a donkey. Trimmed at top edges with some surface abrasion. $55.00
1/9 plate tintype of two females and dog TT117-2 1/9 plate tintype of two young woman posing indoors with a dog at their feet. The studio has a very "ramshackle" look to it. It might very well just be a temporary space set up by an itinerant photographer. Note in the lower left corner part of a cast iron stove. $22.00
1/6 plate tintype of a "beach" scene TT118-2 Very nice 1/6 plate tintype of three woman and two little girls, dressed in white dresses, and posed in front of a painted backdrop. I love the "clouds". There's no doubt that this is a memento of a summer's day. In near fine condition. $20.00
Tintype of pregnant woman by Critcherson's, Worcester, MA TT123-2 1/6 plate tintype of two women posing in a photographer's studio housed in a blind stamped cream paper sleeve. The woman standing is in an advanced stage of pregnancy, resting her hand on her stomach. It's very rare to see images of pregnant women from this era. Studio mark of "Critcherson's Gallery, Worcester, MA". There's some soiling to sleeve, otherwise this image is in fine condition with terrific contrast. $45.00
